Steps for using silicone sugar flipping molds:
Step 1: Prepare your silicone fondant mold by cleaning it thoroughly and drying it completely.
Step 2: Knead your fondant or gum paste until it’s soft and pliable. Make sure you dust your work surface with cornstarch or powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
Step 3: Press your fondant firmly into the mold, starting with the innermost parts first and smoothing it outwards.
Step 4: Use a rolling pin or fondant smoother to press the fondant or gum paste further into the mold to ensure sharp details.
Step 5: Remove any excess fondant or gum paste by trimming it with a scraper.
Step 6: Allow your fondant or gum paste to dry inside the mold for several minutes, or place it in the freezer for a few minutes to speed up the process.
Step 7: Gently pull the edges of the mold to release the fondant or gum paste shape.
Step 8: Your beautiful fondant or gum paste decoration is ready to be applied to your cake or other baked goods. Repeat the process as needed for additional shapes and designs.
